If something went wrong, tell us — we err on the side of the customer.
The $1 trial fee
The $1.00 trial fee is refundable on request if the service failed to deliver your document — for example, your file would not process or you could not download the finished result. Just email us and tell us what happened.
Monthly subscription charges
If you are unhappy with a $39.99 monthly charge, contact us within 7 days of the charge. Refunds of the most recent subscription charge are granted on a case-by-case basis, and our policy is to err on the side of the customer. A common example: you meant to cancel but missed the renewal date — reach out and we will work with you.

How to request a refund
- Email support@finishmydocs.com from the email address on your account.
- Include the word “Refund” in the subject and a brief reason for the request.
- We will reply within one business day with a decision or a follow-up question.
Processing time
Approved refunds are issued through Stripe back to your original payment method. They typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. We resolve nearly all billing issues directly, usually within one business day — and a direct refund will reach you faster than a dispute process.
